At the beginning I was pulled in. The aura given through the music and art was chilling. However there was more text then animation, and I soon wasn't sure of what I was watching or what this trailer was trying to say or present other than asking for money and support.

Sorry to say it, but it's true. I'm not saying that you don't need the help and support, but you need to make it clear to those you wish to have sponsor you what makes your project in need and worth of their donations when so many others make great things with no support. I applaud you on the professional look and hope you either take into consideration what I say or perhaps these issues are already dealt with in another way. If so perhaps you can make it more clear where to find said answers.

Croire responds:

Thanks for your input! I'll definitely consider everything you suggested next time I make a trailer for something!

The art and animation suit anime done pretty well, but can be somewhat inconsistent. The voice work is decent but seems more dumbed down rather than exaggerated which I think would be more fitting to make fun of anime. Also I am sure this will change as the series goes on, but I believe more anime tropes could have been added and more played upon. As an example having the Best Friend call the blonde an anti protagonist, then making the popular kid the obvious anti-protagonist and then switching the blonde to being the naive dumb protagonist made the joke lose its effect. I'm sure the series will improve over time and I hope to see more of it in the future. Good Luck.

KKING1 responds:

Naive dumb protagonist is some kind of an anti-protagonist and the popular kid's point was to be his rivle that team up with him, a thing that happen in a lot of animes
but thank you for the constractive comment :D

The 8-bit is decent although I think everything should have been made 8-bit rather than just the talk show hosts head and black Steve, and maybe add more animation.

I suppose it can be humorous due to the fact G4 has pretty much just rolled over and died and Code Monkey's was one of it's best older shows, but still the content just didn't have enough. Also the voices were rather bland and the audio wasn't very pleasant on the ears.

Doopest responds:

Hey thanks for the elaboration! All I can do now is promise a much better next episode =]

I enjoyed this and got a chuckle out of it all. The animation in the faces was great, and I loved the voice work.

Wonderful art and animation. Great voice acting and sound effects. Love it and will certainly be watching more!

The art stays true to the comic. It's a great story that would work well with animation probably better than live action.

I find the art and animation show potential. The subject was pretty good too, no better time for a zombie Santa than now. However I find the the lack of any sound or voices and the rushed ending to really hurt this video. In fact just adding say a chomping noise and a splash for the blood or perhaps a scream would add a lot to the ending.

Fearlessfullness responds:

Yeah I know what you mean, but I had to finish it before the new year at least.

Honestly I'm very happy with the score you gave.
